A woman without limits

“You cannot change what happened but you can change your attitude”

María Marín is the main motivator for Hispanics, whether on the radio, on television, presenting a live lecture, or simply reading one of her books, this multifaceted woman can change forever the lives of those who follow her. She was selected as one of the 25 most powerful Hispanic women by People in the Spanish magazine. In addition, she is a well-known Youtuber with her funny videos: “El empujoncito de María Marín” with more than 17 million visits on her channel.

This successful woman, possessing a positive attitude and that special brightness that belongs those who perform the difficult task of motivating, a year ago had to live through one of the most difficult experiences of her life, to fight the battle against cancer!

For many, it is difficult to understand what is the formula to maintain a positive attitude towards life, especially when you face an adversity like this, and you are a potential motivator “always remember that everything in life is temporary. Sometimes we have to go through a bad season but we must bear in mind that everything is temporary. It’s like the seasons of the year, no matter how hard and cold winter is, sooner or later spring will come, “said Marín.

She confesses that cancer sensitized her, because she experienced a lot of fear and pain in her own flesh, today she can identify deeply with the fears and sufferings of others and understood that no problem is as big as losing her health.

During the year 2017 according to statistics from the American Society of Clinical Oncology, in the United States, about 252,710 women were diagnosed with breast cancer, a figure that needs motivators like María Marín to reduce that number. “My advice for anyone diagnosed with cancer is to get a second opinion. My first diagnosis revealed only one tumor and after obtaining a second opinion, two additional tumors were discovered. I have no doubt that this second opinion saved my life. “

She is the one who helps millions of people to overcome obstacles, to overcome the difficulties that each day brings, and as a proof of destiny, she found herself faced with a monumental challenge–to save your own life.

Thankfulness

After being diagnosed with the disease and undergoing three major surgeries, today she is cancer free. Every moment of life is valued much more and after a tireless struggle comes the moment of gratitude “every morning, when I open my eyes, I look outside and if it is rainy or sunny, I sing a famous phrase from the hit song of The Rascal: “It’s a beautiful morning” (It’s a beautiful morning) followed by my song I thank God for the second chance he has given me to continue with life “.

New Horizons

This new year Maria decided not to make resolutions or impose big plans, because for her everything that had been planned last year God decided to modify, so this year she wants to let everything flow. However, at this moment she is focused on continuing to grow with the digital program María Marín Live “I always had the dream of having my own program, but there was always an excuse to postpone the plans. The irony is that my diagnosis of cancer was what prompted me to pursue this dream. One day, in the middle of my illness, I said to myself: I do not die without fulfilling my dream. And so began this project which I feel very excited to be the first person to do a reality show live on social networks. “

She turned her house into a professional studio using 10 cameras located in strategic places with professional lighting and a team of 12 professionals who have made this dream a reality. “Every Wednesday I invite a celebrity to my house and at 6:00 PM ET thousands of people connect to my Facebook Live. The purpose of the program is for my audience to realize that no matter what battle you face, all adversity can be overcome. “

Finally, she offered an advance on the fifth book soon to be published, which will expose her fight against breast cancer. In addition to this, she assures us that if new projects come her way she is willing to welcome them with open arms.
